Wolverine game

So I know this game is kinda old now but I just now got to play it. I must admit that it was worth a playthrough for sure. I actually found myself really having fun with the combat. It was not perfect by any means at all but it was definitely enjoyable.

As for graphics I think they were all around pretty good, I did find a couple things a little weird though. The real time regeneration was very weird to me. All of my hp would completely refill but I would still have gaping holes on my character, also sometimes the skin on my shoulder would just float over the empty space where muscle used to be, it was a little odd looking to say the least.

I actually thought that the gameplay was well done here. The combat was very fluid for me and I rarely ran into things like slowdown, though I did run into a couple areas where the camera was a bitch or where I would get stuck in a tiny room fighting a giant monster and basically had to just take a pummeling while slowly killing him. Also, the fight with Gambit is just screwy, I had to restart this fight about 3 times because it kept breaking. But in the end I felt like Wolverine while slashing through my enemies and that makes the game easily worth the investment if you like the character.

One of my biggest complaints about the game is its length, this game follows suite with so many other recent games that somehow thing that a 6-10 hour experience is worth $60 bucks. I really dislike this mentality, if you are going to charge me 60 bucks for a game I expect at least 20 hours of honest gameplay. I feel like I should explain "honest gameplay" a little here, sorry but this might be a little rant'y. Basically offering different difficulty settings, multiplayer, collectibles or other such non story driven content should not be allowed to be considered extra content. This is filler crap (IMO), replaying the same content on a harder setting is not actually the same as having a larger and longer plot line, the same with collectibles. "Well if you go around hunting for one million flags/stars/pictures/feathers you will totally get another several hours" is such bullshit. Multiplayer is the biggest one I think people would stone me for. But not everyone can/wants to play MP so dont gimp the rest of the game and proclaim that multiplayer saves it. I mean if the game is WoW then thats fine, thats all the game is. But I hate FPS games that come out with a 4 hour story and think they did well. -----rant over-----

Anyway I liked the game and would recommend people to play it.
