Hunted

So I started a new co-op game with my friend. I was planning to play it on the PC but he was insistent about playing on the xbox so I went online and shopped around and finally found a way to get the game for 45 bucks instead of 60. Fitting into my slim single income family budget. :)

So I have been playing the game a little with him and a tiny bit solo. So far the game is pretty good, but I found it to be insanely frustrating to play on any difficulty higher than casual. Namely this is because the check point system is pretty much ass. The game gives check points so rarely and it's so easy to die (at least for me and my friend). On top of that you can only hold a limited number of health potions and they are pretty rare as well. So when we started we tried playing normal difficulty and gave up after a bit. I really dont believe in ripping my hair out to complete a game on "hard" mode without a pretty damn good reason.

On the good side the games combat is actually pretty nice so far, at least while playing the archer chick. It is pretty exciting to play with a live player partner and just rip through a battle field because you guys are covering each other and working together well. According to my partner in the game playing the warrior character isnt quite as awesome because it's too easy to die for him to really charge into battle as much as he would like.

Sadly there is extremely little story happening in this game, it is just barely enough to keep the chain of battles connected.

I have done a little bit with the map maker system. It has an interesting design and I would not might messing with it a little. Since I haven't spent too much time with that though I dont know too much about how it works.

well thats all for now when I complete the game I will post a final opinion on it.
