Thanks to the help of a friend i am getting some 3D printed side arms for the "handles". These will look way better! 

In the mean time i had another idea. Why not have it "light up out darkest hour". Sorry couldnt help it! 

I added a light. I can't fully install this yet because i need to prime it first and to do that i need he handles. So it will stay un-attached for a bit longer but here's the 2 pieces. 

Also the battery died so i cant show it light up.

Got this pre-release from temple con! Woot. Started my work on turning him into the matrix of leadership.

Finally painted again

So after a long hiatus I have finally painted another model, well....finished painting it at least. This is warpath:

My ogre army

Spent 200 total and some trades to get this. Its somewhere in the 3500 point range with no magic items or anything like that.

Got into warhammer a little and did work on this guy. 

Vessel of judgement

Finished the basic work on this guy. Much like my other stuff i doubt paint will see this anytime soon but i am happy with the way the bridge and light jack looks.

Finished up the model. Well, minus the fire assuming I can learn how to do that. 

Jusicator and axiom update

Finally got my judicator. I have done a little work on him to change a couple features. First, I hate the flame nipples so I moved them to his hands. Second I wanted to reverse the arm guards to look cooler (to me) here is the resulting update to the lower arm:

Next I wanted to have him using this new flame thrower hand so I am trying to setup a scene where he has downed a wraith engine and is now tor hing it. The fire is going to be the real hard part here as I have no clue how to make fire out of green stuff haha (or for that matter how to paint fire). But here is the wreck:

Next is his current pose. A couple notes about this. 1, he is not glued to his lower body here and 2, he is going to be on an elevated section of the base over the body of the wraith engine. Anyway here's the current pose plan:

Last thing about this guy is that I have ordered some bits to improve the wraith engine corpse including its left arm and hand and his head. 

Also, here is a quick update on prime axiom. Not much work on him lately but I finally glued him to his base. My ADHD is getting the better of me lately and finishing models is apparently difficult for me right now:

Did more updates. I think that i am ready to do a wash and then do some highlights or is it highlights first. 

Omega base coat

Been working on this guy. Tried an airbrush (friends) and the colors came out a little bright but i am already missing the lack of brush strokes. I have worked on darkening the yellow down from "ronald mcdonald" to something more like what i see in my reference art. I plan on doing a nice armor wash over all the silver and i have yet to decide what to do with the pods on his legs. I am currently thinking of red but i dont know if i like that idea. I might just leave them as is too.

Axiom

Been working on this base for a little bit today. I am super excited to paint my PA so i have been working to get the base done so I can glue him down finally!

Warpath base colors

Finished most of the base coat. A little more and i start detail work and then washing and highlights and stuff.

Doing some color testing. I think the red works well but dont quite know about the pig iron. I am going to try out using armor wash to darken it in some areas a little.
